Re: Mapping ANALOG DirectX-buttons
<t>I've got a Thrustmaster F-16 FLCS and TQS stick and throttle with the digital chipset, hence an SWF22, at the game-port (this is the only controller 'seen' by the TrackIR's 4.00.23 software), a Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar stick and throttle plus RCS pedals at an USB-port (this one's specified as th...

Re: Mapping ANALOG DirectX-buttons
<t>Hm, I hope I don't come across as bitching or not thankful, but this in fact is a bummer:<br/> <br/> Only the 1st controller is recognized and accepted, not even the one set to be the default controller in the properties.<br/> <br/> This means that if I really want to use this new feature (and TH...

Re: Jane's WW2 Fighters and TrackIR 3 Pro
<t>Actually, Rich,<br/> <br/> it luckily is quite easy to install and use both the old and the new software on the same machine:<br/> <br/> Simply install both versions into different directories. I've got mine under "C:/Programs/Naturalpoint/TrackIR" (the old 3.x) and "C:/Programs/Naturalpoint/Trac...

Re: Adding Profiles?
Wrong version, probably? The profiles made for the 3.x-software are not compatble to the 4.x-software and vice versa.

Re: Jane's WW2 Fighters and TrackIR 3 Pro
<t>Fine - and in the meantime you can not only use the 'old' 3.x-software, but you can even install it parallel to the 'new' 4.x-software; if you need mouse-emulation, simply start the 3.x-version.<br/> <br/> Like I already said, it works like a charm for Jane's WWII Fighters! MS' CFS-series is a di...

Re: Jane's WW2 Fighters and TrackIR 3 Pro
Yes, the 'old' 3.x-software features the mouse-emulation mode (which works like a charm with Jane's WWII Fighters), but the 'new' 4.x-drivers don't, unfortunately. At first we had been told that it just had been taken out to ensure allow for an earlier release and that it would be put back into the ...

Re: Mouse-Emulation: WHEN will we get it back?!?
THX for your reply, Jim. I am looking forward for this mouse-emulation tool, absolutely! One question, if you don't mind, though: will it allow the mouse-emulation to be toggled on/off via a hotkey (which I then could assign to my controller) like it used to be with the 3.x drivers? If yes, then I'l...

Re: Mouse-Emulation: WHEN will we get it back?!?
<t>Well, in a perfect world all new games would be released with TrackIR-enhanced support - but in the real world, this is only the case for most sims; FPS never feature TIR-support.<br/> <br/> In a perfect world the users would RTFM and thus know the difference between enhanced- and mouse-mode - in...
