Re: TrackIR 5.1.3 not installing after beta removal
Try right clicking on the TrackIR installer and choosing "Run as Administrator" (even if you are on an administrator account). It appears that something is blocking the drivers from being installed.

Everything you can do currently with your SmartNav in Windows 7 works fine in Windows 8. You might have to upgrade to version 3.30.039 of the software though.

There are several people out there who have had success doing what you describe. Between chairs and cats I have ruined my share of cables too!

Re: Can I use USB3.0 and 64bit PC?
The USB 3 ports are probably what is giving you trouble. Theoretically your USB chipset should mimic USB 2 when a USB2 device is plugged in, but I have yet to see that actually work as described.

Re: TrackIr5 is not recognized by Flaming cliffs 2
<r>Being that this is a rather old thread I would just make sure that you have all the updates and patches for FC-2 and install the latest software for the TrackIR from our website. The latest at this time is 5.2 Beta 2, which can be downloaded from <URL url="http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/06-s...

Emily,
If you click on Control Panel and then on the Gravity tab, is Use Cursor Gravity checked? And if so what other options are checked and what is the snap/stick duration sliders set to?
