Re: Vector won't track downward movement
<t>My (partial until NP fixes this problem) solution is to have all three dots in upper half of tracking screen (by pointing TIR device down a little from horizontal position) when in neutral position. This way you can point your head lower while reflectors are still reflecting light to TIR. But thi...

Re: Camera Tracking : Green Screens
<r>After two weeks of use of TIR3 Stnd (21613) + Vector + 4.0.020 + FS2004 +W2K Prof. I encountered "Green screen of death" for the first time. Unpluging/plugging solved the problem. It never happened with my TIR2.<br/> <br/> I don't know how to attach a screenshot here. It looks just like the scree...

Re: Lots of freezing with 4.0.021 Beta
I'm experiencing somethig similiar with 4.0.021 but rather coupling between linear and angular movements (with Vector). But nobody answered my post...

In 4.0.020 those couplings are much smaller.

Am I the only guy with this problem? I really don't know if I should use 4.0.021...

Re: programs is confused on trackhat/ non trakhat
I don't know if this matters but I don't have "Light Filtering" enabled.
Something very strange plagues your system. Maybe your TIR hardware is faulty? Do you have all four red LEDs illuminating?

Re: programs is confused on trackhat/ non trakhat
<t>Looking at your screens I can see that when red dot disapears you have your head at extreme angle and the green dots are barely visible. TIR stops tracking in this position not because of disaperanig red dot but because of going out of range... The remaining traces of green dots in this position ...

Re: Standing on my head
Tried straightening. No effect. Still "down view" lockups.
Curve of my hat is exactly like the hat of guy starring in Vector commercial movie (by the way - who is this guy?). I think they at NP designed and tested Vector with the exact curve of NP hat.

Strange couplings in 4.0.021
<t>I just tested 4.0.021 with my profile made in 4.0.020. I discovered that when I look down (pitch movement) my in-game head at the same time is moving in Y and Z axes, so rotational movement is no longer independent of Y and Z movements. I tried to move my head carefully (only rotation without any...

Re: Standing on my head
<t>Wayne<br/> <br/> I don't think that problem with "standing on head" is caused by faulty LEDs. It's more common and reported by others too. You can do your own test - just start FS2004 in VC, place a chart on your lap then look straight down at it for a couple of seconds. When you return to lookin...

Re: Standing on my head
<t>I discovered that if you are caught in this "straight down look" condition (after looking at your chart or checklist placed on your lap) and you don't want to recenter using button you have to move your head in such a way that one of dots is no loger visible to TIR. You can move your head to extr...
