The only time my optical wheel mouse was able to zoom in and out in the virtual cockpit was when I was using a free addon for Flight Sim from Flight1.com

It was called F1View Utility and it made do until I got my TrackIR 4 Pro.

I believe that you will find that Race Driver 3 has 6DOF support the same as Race Driver 2.

Why would they remove this great aspect from such a great game anyway.
