Very cool and inventive. I would love to see a picture of the device. Thanks for keeping us updated with your progress.

Re: With Love from Russian pilots

<t>Hello:<br/> <br/> We have identified the problem and it seems to happen on Intel machines as well. The thing to do is not have the software running when it doesn't "see" a dot. If you leave it running then it does cause a new handle to appear every second. This issue will be fixed in version 2.0,...

Re: TrackIR Software Installation.

<t>Hello:<br/> <br/> Wow, I don't know exactly what to say from this point forward to resolve the issue. It seems like there is a USB ID problem for sure, but if it won't clear out and act like new then I don't know what to do. I have several XP machines here to try things on, but they all work and ...

Re: active dot users

Guys:

That function is in the new trackIR 2.0 software. We made it so that it always turned back on as a fail safe issue for normal dot use, but it can be a pain if using an active LED.

Re: Help!!

<t>Hello:<br/> <br/> I am not sure on this, but you really can't hurt anything. I believe that you can simply move the modules to another directory and then they won't be causing a conflict. Just have our module in the folder to start. Add the others back in one by one, or in groups and that should ...

Re: TrackIR Software Installation.

<t>Hello:<br/> <br/> This is a tough one for sure. Once the USB ID Handle, the ViD number, is assigned to the Unknown driver then it is very hard to fix. The only way to do it is to rip out all references to our device in the Registry. This is a pain to do, but usually works. Can you go back in time...

Re: Messages getting slower?

<t>Hello:<br/> <br/> I have alerted Birch to your post, so he should reply in a day or so. <br/> <br/> I remember having a similar problem with our Active X control application, but I think they fixed it by increasing the priority of the application. It does sound like Windows is just busy doing som...

Re: Heres a new idea

Hello:

You would not believe how many emails I get asking the same thing. I don't quite understand why people are willing to wear a contact lens, but the dot appeals less?

We used to make eye trackers and one day we will do it again, it is my goal for the company.

Re: TrackIR Software Installation.

Hello: I can help out here. What happened is that the USB Device ID got assigned wrong, so you have to fix it manually. I am copying in the text from another post on this site: Can you use the System Restore feature to go back in time before the Critical Upgrade? This might take things back to the w...
