1. Yes, you want to have it as close as possible to eye level otherwise the top portion of the reflective clip will be out of view. There is some play but not to the extent you need if its on the table and not on the monitor.

2. What issue are you referring to?

Fixes are being worked on and a new version is around the corner. No word though on the date a new version will be released.

This is something I will look into and get back to you on. I'll have to test it myself as well.

You can try to use Mouse Emulation mode and thats about it at this point. The program is called TIRMouse.EXE which is located in the TrackIR software folder.

Is this on a laptop? If so I would use a powered USB hub.

Which game does it not work with?

You do not need a DLL for FS2004 to work with the TrackIR.

Questions:

1. Are you using a No-CD hack?
2. Are you using Active Camera?
3. Did you change the language.dll file?
4. Did you turn off in game messages?

What software version are you using? What was the name of the profile you copied over?

Where are you plugging the TrackIR into? If your new drive is taking all the power from the USB bus then the TrackIR will not function.
