Re: losing panning distance with slower setting
<t>Hello:<br/> <br/> There are several suggestions to help out here. First off, most users run IL2 at a higher mouse speed setting, so that might make a big difference. Also, the distance that you are from the trackIR directly effects the scaling. Remeber that all mouse scaling is cumulative, meanin...

Re: Is there a good way to enhance performance...
Hello:
Let me know what "slow" is. Are we talking 1-2FPS or is the frame rate fine but the tracking isn't? The view paning in FPS games should be as smooth as mouse motion in Windows, actually no difference at all, so not sure what is going on. Have you tried it in flight sims?

Re: 'Active' dot
<t>Hello:<br/> <br/> You guys are great! This project has really taken on a life of it's own. Just to confirm, I will be designing an active LED setup around the new year, I will open up a topic on it so that I can get all your feedback, especially from those that have already made their own system....

Re: Next generation TrackIR?
<t>Hello:<br/> <br/> Many non-documented things have been changing in the trackIR hardware, but not of significant functional change. There are now nice custom rubber feet and new press cut, as opposed to laser cut, metal bases. The inside electronics have been revised over 3 times since we launched...

Re: With Love from Russian pilots
<t>Hello:<br/> <br/> I have heard of this problem from one other user and thought that it was an isolated case. I will get on it right away, probably Monday. So, you all agree that it only happens on an AMD machine with XP, or did one of you post that you are running Win98? And it only happens when ...

<t>Guys:<br/> <br/> Yes, I do think that one day there will be an awesome HMD, like the one that we all want in out head, and we will be there to put eye tracking in it! <br/> <br/> The new version of software is a complete tear down and rebuild of the software, everything will be new. All your favo...
Re: Help!!
Hello:
I have seen this same problem before, and the solution presented here is correct. The easiest thing to do is just move all the modules out of the Modules folder, and then after our program is working add the modules back one by one. That seems to do the trick.

Thanks for putting the word in Microsoft's ear! I can't imagine that they won't have some level of interest if they actually saw the trackIR in use.
Let us know what happens.

Re: Severe problem with TrackIR
Hello:
Okay, if you don't already have a PCI USB card then I would try that first, in most of these cases it has fixed the problem, and you can probably keep the sound card.

Re: Double mouse ?
<t>Hello:<br/> <br/> Very interesting application of the dot tracking technology. We can track up to 32 dots at one time, but we only choose to track one dot for the current application. I think this idea could go somewhere for sure, but we would need more support from the game developers to make it...
