Re: Frame Rates Dropping in game

<t>Well, I know that because of TIR I can no longer record any demos because of the huge amount of view related information versus using a hatswitch or whatever.<br/> <br/> Since I don't have this issue I'm wondering if it might have something to do with an accumulated error issue or logging issue c...

Re: 64 bit Drivers RELEASED!

<t>Cool. Bringing up minimum FPS is worth just as much if not more than highest. Still all of those tests were done with averaged scores so it's a bit odd that it would end up the same as 32-bit XP?<br/> <br/> Anyway, I'm just saying that it's only been a few months and NP is a relatively small comp...

Re: training axis

<t>Hi DG, didn't expect to see you post here. <br/> <br/> I have my sensor on top of my monitor which is also above normal viewing level as well. One thing you can do to really help keep the effect you're experiencing minimized is to raise the Z sensitivity curve in your TIR vector profile so that y...

Re: future trackir?

<t>As a beta tester for NP I can tell you that I'm not aware of anything coming down the pipe yet so it's tough to say. Even still, it's hard to see how much improvement can be done with 2D so I don't think you'll be losing out by getting yours sooner rather than later.<br/> <br/> Just my opinion, b...

Re: More dots the better?

<t>It's a bit more than just extra "smoothness". The vector, using an improved algorithm, can "see" your head as a 3D object in space and translate it's position accordingly to the game.<br/> <br/> Without Vector, the more the dot travels to the outside the less accurately it can tell what position ...

Re: future trackir?

<t>Believe me, I've owned each version of TIR and much like buying a cpu or video card the more positive impact on your framerate, the better experience you'll have. The difference here is that the TIR3pro is well worth the extra cost.<br/> <br/> Getting the vector expansion is like doubling your im...

Re: Please Help...

You have to toggle your view to virtual cockpit in the sim, I can't recall the key off the top of my head.

Does the blue light come on in your sensor unit after starting FS2004?

Re: Need a new code

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get it back if you email support they should have your serial number on file. It's the weekend though.

Re: Tracking Problems

<t>I am not discounting the possibility or probability, as the case may be, that the problem is hardware or software related. I wanted to make note of my observations from the video so that it could be taken into account. Due to the frame-rate of the video capture it's somewhat difficult to see the ...
