This game rocks with TIR.
It would be nice to have "roll" and a bit of Y to play with too but I would put a healthy deadzone in for those. I've really loosened up the yaw after starting with a fair deadzone until I got used to things. TIR4 + clip is steady as a rock.

Re: IDEA! Head position "memory"
<t>Not a bad idea really. Once you hit the preset the view pans (and zooms in vector) to the spot you saved until the key is toggled again where it releases to full tracking mode again. You would use, say, SHIFT+preset button to program the view in.<br/> <br/> A problem with that might be that you h...

Frequent game crashes solution
There seems to be a problem involving BoB2 with TIR and Windows XP SP2 that causes intermittent crashes in the game. I've been having this problem for some time but found what seems to be a solution here: http://www.simhq.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=130;t=000622;p=0 Apparantly it has ...

Re: Why are no topics displaying in this forum?
<t>Well after some time with it the flaws are becoming more obvious. It's still fun, especially with vector, but it seems quite the mess.<br/> <br/> It does a lot of stuff well but just doesn't have nearly the scope or longevity that FB has going for it.<br/> <br/> Ah well, the clickable cockpits as...

No MP. Not sure if they're planning on adding it.

I say wake him up at 3:00am and tell him it's an emergency. I really want to get this figured out!
Actually, I suspect something may have got messed in the installation although that's not very easy to mess up so I'll try a re-install tomorrow to see.

Re: Why are no topics displaying in this forum?
Hey I get the double dumbass award yay!
I know you can invert the roll in the driver just making note that it's inverted for the WOV game in the .26 driver.
The .27 driver roll is disabled though.

Re: Why are no topics displaying in this forum?
<t>Anyway, I just received my copy of BoBII:WoV and right off the hop, besides the initial crash I noticed that the roll is reversed in this game.<br/> <br/> Now that I think about it I should probably make sure I have the latest driver but when I seen BoB in the profile list I assumed it was a rece...
