Are you saying that your TIR has packed up then?
Windows should detect it as normal, as
'New hardware detected' ?
If this is not happening, Windows is the culprit.

Unplug the TrackIR.
Turn off your computer.
Plug in the TIR
Switch on the computer and TIR will be found.
I have found this, is the only remedy.
I also believe that it's not a good idea to leave the device working when it's not in use.

I've just noticed this..............
After clickig on the TIR icon and not using TIR for around 10 minutes, it switches itself off!
Remedy click on it again..............Presto!

Try un-plugging the TIR and then replacing the plug?

Rick, you are wrong mate.
I use the 'No-CD' hack for FS9 and my 'Trackir' works beautifully.
Those having problems should make sure that the correct game is entered within the 'profiles'. If so, use the default mode for best results?
