Re: ArmA demo vs. full game
<t>I should mention that there are mods out now that change the TrackIR fields of view and fix the annoying VIEW LOCK bug. The mod I'm specifically mentioning is called TrueView... not to be confused with the tracking option found in TrackIR. The only downside to this mod that I've seen is how it re...

Re: ArmA demo vs. full game
<t>I'd have to disagree... the demo for ArmA really was pathetic.<br/> <br/> I remember in the demo I had a very annoying bug that sometimes caused the screen to jerk around violently when headtracking was enabled. I don't know if that was isolated to the demo, but I don't have that problem anymore,...

SmartNAV used on TV's "SCRUBS"?
<t>I was watching the TV show "Scrubs" on Comedy Central today and I caught something interesting at the end of the episode.<br/> <br/> In the episode titled "His Story III", one of the patients is a paraplegic who communicates through the use of his computer.<br/> <br/> At the end of the episode he...

Re: HL2 Insurgency Mod
<t>My evaluation of TrackIR in Insurgency is that it is unfinished. Currently, enabling TrackIR will hinder more than help you on the battlefield. Unless your head is completely centered, the gun will not hit where it is aimed. It ruins both aimed shots and from the hip. The best plan is to not enab...

Re: TrackIR4 inactive after "waking" computer
Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports? In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Hub"(s), that show, and then select properties. On the power management tab, uncheck the box that allows the computer to turn off the USB port to save ...

Re: Head Movement
Yes... easily. You can even set specific settings for different games. Each game gets it's settings from one of the available profiles in the TrackIR software. You can edit these profiles or even create new ones to set the rate that your virtual head turns in relation to your real head. You can also...

That, and the fact that all your posts are between 3:00AM and 7:00AM Central US time (I believe that's 1:00AM-5:00AM at NaturalPointHQ).Obviously, being a Sunday, I am posting to myself today only!
Try to be patient.

Re: changing axis?
I think it depends on the game. The TrackIR software doesn't seem to have any function to swap axes, but some, if not most, games allow you to choose what imput controls headmovement.
You would usually set this the way you would change one joystick axis to another.

Re: Horrible skew problems.
<t>The most likely cause of this is that you did not set your profiles for TrackClip PRO.<br/> <br/> In the TrackIR software, click edit for each of your profiles and in the motion tab, find the "Tracking:" bubbles at the top. Set it to Track Clip Pro for each of your profiles.<br/> <br/> As for you...

Re: Blinking Blue Light
<t>Ok, so the blinking light is the problem. So why don't you simply leave the TrackIR software running? It only seems to blink when the software isn't running. My software launches at startup, so I haven't even noticed the blinking since I got it.<br/> <br/> Do you have a TrackClip Pro, or a Vector...
