Re: Saving Settings of Data Streaming Pane
Hi RebSchu, If you are using Motive 1.10 Final, it is expected that most, if not all, settings should be persistent. Could you let us know if you are saving your settings to a Project, and can you also tell us which settings do not seem to be saving? Thanks, Steven -- Steven Andrews OptiTrack | Seni...

Re: Ports in Motive: 1.10
Hello msanghv2, From the description in your post, it sounds like the streaming may not be configured correctly. When selecting a Local Interface in Motive, you want to select the IP address for the network card that is connected to the Ubuntu machine. Since our Prime Cameras require an isolated net...

Re: V120:Trio + HTC Vive Sync
Hi André, Thank you for reaching out to the community regarding this question. The online documentation says that, currently, only sync configurations with Prime-series camera systems have been tested. The USB sync is not as reliable as the sync provided in our Ethernet systems, so it is possible yo...

Re: Explanation of Local Interface setting under Network Int
Hello pratik_chatrath, The Local Interface sets the network card that you will be streaming off of. Typically, to stream to a separate machine, your Motive PC needs to have two network cards. One network card is connected to the cameras while the other network card is connected to the client machine...

Re: Steps involved to stream data using Motive VRPN server
Hello pratik_chatrath, Thank you for reaching out to the community regarding your questions. 1) You are correct that Motive starts streaming as soon as you enable the Broadcast Frame Data checkbox. If you need VRPN streaming, VRPN will not begin until you also enable the VRPN checkbox. 2) The Local ...

Re: Motive 1.8.0 failing to apply calibration after wanding
Hello rahulk, What you are describing does not sound like any issues we have had in our software. Is it possible you have reconstruction bounds set, in your Reconstruction Properties, that would prevent your markers from reconstructing where the cameras are placed before setting the ground plane? If...

Re: Labeling rigid body in live mode
Hi RebSchu, Markers can be tracked, in realtime, by using a rigid body. If you are tracking a rigid body, the markers are being identified and will stream out of Motive with consistent IDs. http://wiki.optitrack.com/index.php?title=Rigid_Body_Tracking These IDs cannot be changed in realtime. If you ...

Re: Fourth value in marker position box
Thanks RebSchu, The 4th value does seem like it is supposed to be the size of the marker. Marker size is not something that is always calculated accurately, especially with a limited system such as a Trio. This is why your values are so far off from reality. If you used a set marker size in your app...

Re: reconstruct the structure of the object
Hello xfile2k, I suppose what you want to do is possible, but it would require work on your part. The system will give you the exact X, Y, Z position of the markers you place on an object. You would need to know the offset between the surface of your object and the center of each of the markers, but...

Re: Fourth value in marker position box
Hi RebSchu, I am not sure where you are seeing this 4th value. I right-click on a marker and hover over the Marker Info option to see the X, Y, Z coordinates, but I cannot get Motive to show me a 4th value. I tried Motive 1.8, 1.9 and 1.10 Do you have any screenshots showing this 4th value? What ver...
