Hello,

You can always pause the TrackIR when in 2D mode. By default the F9 key is set to be pause. You can edit this in in the Profile/Hot Keys tab.

Please check out RJCooper.com, he makes all of our SmartNAV Mac Drivers.

To answer your question, yes, the SmartNAV is fully supported on all versions of OSX.

I would highly suggest trying Gravity as Vince mentioned, it works pretty well.
