Re: Custom Profiles
Mine's up for grabs if you like. Although it's more suited for Pacific Fighters than FS2004. It's only compatible with the ver 4 software however.
I've started using almost no deadzone now and have tweaked "pitch-down" to be a little more sensitive than "up" for reading gauges.

Although I'm not really that dramatic. I still visit UBI now and then but I don't have a lot of time to spend on forums so I pretty much stick around aCWoS. Drop by.
cheers

Re: IL2 series vs Combat 3 w/ vector
Awz, I was the same way a few years ago. I thought I'd give a combat flight sim a try to see if it would be any fun and now I'm around a thousand bucks in with sticks, pedals, TIR, etc, IL2 series, etc. The worst part is I don't regret one single dime of it. Flight sims, especially on the level of e...

Re: HALFLIFE2
First off there will be a major change in the game industry, there needs to be and it is inevitable imho, although I doubt it will necessarily be 2005. There needs to be a gaming revolution simply because, as Warren states, the only innovation going on now is in graphics while gaming dynamics have h...

Re: HALFLIFE2
Not at all, Barred you illustrate the point quite nicely. The "revolution" is dependant on having one good game being developed, like all revolutionary games, with the vision necessary to add another layer of immersion much as the mouse did for FPS in doom. It is a problem of breaking into...

Re: HALFLIFE2
<t>The problem with that is despite the greatly improved accuracy of TIR3+vector, it is still too awkward to aim with your head.<br/> <br/> An FPS using vector opens up a ton of possibilities like hiding behind a crate and peeking your head out or looking around corners. Imagine the head and torso m...
