Re: Muscle driven face mocap

<t>MasonMiller -Are you referring to translation? In that case they would need to re-record in a different language. Although I know some people working on a translation algorithm, that will actually translate the lips into talking different languages. Exciting! <br/> <br/> sevenzenith - thanks.<br/...

Re: Both 2D and 3D capture

<t>Hello again.<br/> <br/> Bryan, when you say it's possible to track both the body and the face simultaneously, do Arena actually support 2D tracking? Or would I need the SDK, unfortunately I'm not much of a programmer.<br/> <br/> (I finally got to buy my own setup and will start testing next month...

Re: Both 2D and 3D capture

Ah! Of course, I mixed the terms.

You've been very helpful, I'll post my results in a couple of months!
Thanks!

Re: Both 2D and 3D capture

Very exciting!

As I've understood the s 250 e cameras are wireless. Why not use one of those?

I'll try this out myselves, and build a steady head rig.

Thanks for the answer!
Cheers

Both 2D and 3D capture

<t>Hi!<br/> <br/> Would it be possible to capture 3D motion with Arena and simultaneously capture 2D data from one of the cameras? Like a mix of Arena and the SDK?<br/> <br/> If so, one could capture the body movements and get great 3D data, and then get 2D data from a facecam and direct that into a...

<r>Hi!<br/> <br/> Here's the rig for you to test.<br/> You'll need basic knowledge of maya muscle in order to bind your face to the rig.<br/> There is a "notes" tag in the rig, read it!<br/> There is some simple animation applied, this is only for preview purposes, please delete it after viewing.<br...

Re: Muscle driven face mocap

<r>Sure! <E>:)</E> <br/> I'll try to upload the rig without face models in a couple of days. That mean you'll have to bind and paint weights yourselves. This because I can't give away the models I've made for my company. But it's quite straight forward, and the rig comes with notes.<br/> In december...

Re: Muscle driven face mocap

<t>I'm sorry for my late answer, I'm starting a crunch period now.<br/> <br/> The lag on the muscle solver is quite significant.
