The TrackIR2 runs at 100 frames per second(fps), while the original trackIR1 ran at 60 fps. (so the second device runs 66% faster) This is due to hardware improvements.

I am curious what programs you would need to do this in.
I mentioned this to one of our software devlopers and realized i had no examples of when you'd need this functionality.
