We recognize that this is an issue for some users and are working hard on a fix. In the mean time, I'd suggest unplugging the unit before your computer goes into hibernation mode. I know a 'don't move your arm that way' solution is less than ideal, but the rocket scientists are plugging away!

This is a known issue that appears to affect about 1 in 10 users. We have yet to find a consistent fix with the current hardware, so I'm afraid that the best solution for now is unplugging it before hibernation.

Most of our users are now running XP (including me), so I promise that it's not the issue. The Iwill kk266-r uses a VIA chipset which has known USB issues. We are actively working with EA on support for both of these sims. I hope to offer good news soon.
