Re: Defining "Center" Position
<t>To edit your default head position in FS9 try editing following line in your aircraft.cfg file for that particular aircraft:<br/> <br/> [Views]<br/> eyepoint=-8.3, -0.9, 1.45 <br/> <br/> //Longitudinal, Lateral, Vertical (feet) <br/> <br/> Additionally you can move your default head position (val...

Re: TrackIR4 Dimensions
You can always mount TrackIR on your table (as long as it's no more than ca. 5 inches above your head).

Re: Much of an improvement over the 3Pro?
<t>It's a hardware so I don't expect upgrade path...<br/> <br/> I remember when I bought TrackIR 2 two months before Vector was released and had to buy new TrackIR 3 to use vector. I'm still using it even if two (of four) illuminating red LED's were not working when the product arrived. To be honest...

Re: Strange axes dependecies above 4.0.18
<t>Thanks for the advice. I think I'm pretty good at defining the sensivity curves as a long time TrackIR user.<br/> <br/> After 4.0.18 I tried versions 4.0.20 and 4.0.21. The problem with stonger dependency between pitch and Y and Z axes was introduced in one of mentioned versions (4.0.20 I think)....

Re: FS9 doesn't see Track IR + vector
No tracking in FS9 with 4.1.28 beta. The bug is still there. I think 4.1.28 should be removed from download page with such serious bug (even if it's marked as beta).

Re: Strange axes dependecies above 4.0.18
<t>I'm sure Natural Point have taken into account the human anatomy and position of clip when placed on hat and all this makes a foundation for equations contained in TrakIR software. This is especially true now when new version of software is available with two different clip positions - on hat and...

Strange axes dependecies above 4.0.18
<t>I'm still using 4.0.18 software with my TrackIR3 Standard and VE (clip mounted to TrackHat). This is because when I try any of new versions I'm getting strong dependencies (in FS9) between axes. My TrackIR3 is mounted slightly above my head position (5 cm) at distance ca. 70cm.<br/> <br/> E.g.:<b...

Re: real angles. possible?
<t>I'm afraid it's impossible to turn your head 90 degress and still have tracking dots in sight with Vector. As far as I observed you can't go farther with your head than 10-20 degress (I didn't measured it precisely, but you definitely can't move your head 90 degrees and still be in tracking range...
