Re: Newbie's problem with looking upwards
Hi Valter, You have some fast settings . But that's for the better imo. Leads to better control in the end imo. Those are about the same settings i started out with. About the recentering: I assume you already do this, but just in case. Before you press the F9-KP5-F9 sequence, turn your head directl...

Re: Newbie's problem with looking upwards
You can check if your speed settings are correct if you can reach the left and right shoulder views without straining your neck. It means you must be able to reach the corners with minor headmovement. And that is dependant on the speedsettings in the NP software and in IL2 as well (mousesensitivity ...

Re: Range From IR Source To Dot
hehe the rings
Only thing i can think of is to reduce the size of the material so that it becomes like a "normal sized" dot again.
Or go the active IR led way. But don't ask me about that, as i'm in the same boat about it as you

Re: Range From IR Source To Dot
Dunno how big the reflective material is that you covered the button with. Might be the surface of the reflective material is just too big for that distance.
Reduce the size of the reflective area. Your yellow dot will be smaller so that you can sit closer to the monitor.

<t>Maybe it is the USB controller IRQ sharing an IRQ with another device?

I had that once and was the cause of stutter and pauses.

USB controller shared IRQ with ACPI. Re: whew..not so easy
The way that Bhodi uses it to line up and fire is exactly the way i use it too. Good explanation ! For optimum distance, check the advanced screen. Move closer to the camera to make sure the yellow dot is at it's biggest. But not so close that the box surrounding the yellow dot turns red. Otherwise ...
