TrackIR 5 stopped working Project Cars

I have been using TrackIR 5 for some time with NO problems on all my Racing Sims (all 7 of them)
About a week ago I changed my video card to a GTX 1060 and I think I straight away checked all sims were working ok on TrackIR (but not 100% certain I checked them all). A few days ago I installed a new NVidia driver 372.54. Now TrackIR works in 5 of my sims but not pCars and R3E.
Both lights come on my TrackIR. right-hand one appears when the program normally would have it appear. But no head movement. Really strange. I could understand it if NONE of my sims worked but to just have 2 of them stop working is really strange.
I have tried rolling back the driver but still no good. I have uninstalled TrackIR software and reinstalled it but still no good. I can't put my old video card back in because I have sold it.
Any suggestions any one?
