Track IR support has arrived for GPL in beta

Post by Hotdognz » Mon Oct 14, 2002 9:00 am

Hi all well if you play GPL and have a Track Ir unit you can now use it in GPL using *JSJ* GPLShift utility, he has just released version 0.57 and it includes L & R mouse look via the Track Ir unit, he could do with some people to test this aswell as he is haveing trouble with it under WnXP.

Go here to his forum for a look

The 0.57 GPLShift can be downloaded from here http://home.worldonline.dk/7471000/

I have just tried my Track Ir in GPL using JSJ new mod and i must say i impressed needs a little work as I find that as my head gets about 45 deg either way it starts moveing faster to 90 deg and more and its hard to get a nice smooth controlled view after about 50 deg, other than that its way cool being able to check left and right to any angle you want.

I just ordered GPL. Finally found it. New and in the box with the manuals and all (not dvd case version).

I hope I can get TIR working in it, that is the main reason I bought it. But I know it is a great race sim, so even if it doesn't work out too good I think I will still enjoy the game.
