Glove keyboard

Hi

I just got this idea, and was wondering how practical it is.

Basically as the keyboard also contributes a lot to RSI. Many people have designed all different shapes and types of keyboards to minimize RSI. One of the best ideas I saw was people who took two gloves and used the movement of the fingers in the glove to map to keyboard keys. Unfortunately a commercial version of a "glove keyboard" is not available.

So I was thinking. What if SmartNav could track 10 reflective dots. One dot on each finger and this is mapped to different keyboard keys.
Different positions of the hands could map to a different set of keys..
So if the hands are in the top position the fingers can map to the numeric keys 0 to 9
If the hand is in the middle position the fingers can map to the keys A to J
Etc...
SmartNav should be mounted on top of the monitor and looking down at the hands...

Just an idea... maybe it can work?

Regards,
Johann
