Move your dot closer to the unit.

the centering issue is not bad at all not nearly as bad as when using the mouse emulation mode.
and it is probibly becouse I am moving all over the place trying to get full travel.

I tryed moveing closer but it does not seem to help much, I still do not get the travel or the speed I was able to get with the old software.
my dot (active) is about 2 1/2 feet from the recevier.
it used to be closer when I first got my track IR and when I had to move it back to this distance I only had to make a small adjustment to my old profile.
(went from 16 to 20 on speed with 2x enabled from start)

The problem with an active dot is you get a very small "dot" painted on the screen unless you have found a way to make the LED project in a more wide angle. Here, it wont matter how close you are to the unit as you have a constant beam width.

With a dot, the closer you get, the larger dot you "paint" on the unit.

Hello:

In the next release we will be increasing the speed slider range to get back the full throw from the old 2X feature.

I seem to remember the same thing... that they had it working in AH2 or something to that effect.... I will try to find the pot and link it.

Go to the GENERAL or FLIGHT SIM forum and post your Q there. Someone who has it will advice... was it Nodak that had AH working?
