I recently bought a new computer and just decided to use my TrackIR 4.
Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit. My TrackIR is installed on the computer for a few months now but not the software ( was playing BF3 and did not use my TrackIR ).
At first, I just installed the latest software ( TrackIR Version 5.1.300 (Build 9945). My TrackIR was not detected. I did some research and ended up unplugging my TrackIR, re installing the drivers in admin and plugging the TracIR again.
The current status.
Device: TrackIR 4 #(5 digit)
Profile: Default
Title: None
In the bottom right corner, I see:
Status: Green Light ( Camera detected and Connected )
The amber light is not lit ( Camera tracking status )
When I look at the TrackIR, I can see, every 5 seconds a blue light.
I I press F9 ( pause ), the red light appears.
However, in the "camera window", nothing appears and it does not detect movement when I bring my hat clip in sight.
Any help ?

Just tried my TrackIR on my wife's laptop with the same result. It't not tracking movement...

It's possible that if it's not picking you up on multiple computers that the camera has suffered a fault, and will likely need to be replaced.
