Hi there...
i've bought a used trackir3 pro.
If i connect it to my USB my PC not even opens a windows to install any driver, seems it is not recognized at all. Is this a usual behavior (i have not installed drivers before, but windows should recognize a new unknown device?)
second question, on the left side of the device there is a plug where i can put in something...is this for a powersupply? or for what is it used?
Thanks a lot
regards
Stev

Does it show up in Device Manager under NaturalPoint Devices or do you have an "Unknown Device" with a yellow caution symbol? Do any of the LEDs come on when it is plugged in?
As for the port on the side it is part of a shared component with some of our other devices but is not used with the TrackIR 3.

If it isn't detected at all it could be that the camera has failed. I would try it on another PC first before giving up all hope though.
