The position of the TrackIR2?

I purchased the TrackIR2 Unit it should be at my house the 23rd of December.
I have a 19 inch Monitor and as it is now i look dead center of the screen.
Is it nessary to have the unit directly inline with the dot?.
meaning do i have to lower my monitor?

nope... it swivels in all directions so you can adjust it to look at the dot...have fun with it when you get it
