Lowpull,

Can you please send me the profile that you are using so that i can see where you have your settings. If possible print screen each of your screens.

Track Object Size Slider: This slider determines what size the trackable
object will be within the software’s internal aspect ratio filter. The larger your dot, the
greater the setting needs to be set to.

Tracking Presets: There are two filter buttons, designed to make tracking your
reflective material easier: Dot & TrackHat.
• DOT: The TrackIR looks for a reflective area that is approximately the same
height and width. The Object Size slider is set to 100 by default and is
designed to track objects that have a rounded or dot like appearance
• TrackHat: When using the NaturalPoint TrackHAT or other narrow strips of
reflective material, the Object Size slider is set to 200 and tells the software to
look for objects that are long and narrow.

Lowpull don't give up load Charvel's profile! On your tracker profile it'll read Forgotten Battles i think. Once i loaded it on it only took a couple hours to get used to [my wife even did it!]. Has a good dead zone so your not haveing a seizure in the cockpit!

Don't know if this will help, but,, I recently upgraded from the trackir1 to the 3Pro.
I had more or less the same problems you have. The Trackir 1 was working great and when I started the 3Pro it was too fast . I couldn't set a dead zone or turn it down enough.I tried all kinds of different profiles and did everything with the dot size and smoothing etc.
I was using 4 dots in a clover leaf about 13" from the old Trackir1 unit.
What I had to do was go to one dot and move the unit back about 6" and what do you know. It works great and with much more smoothness than the trackir 1.
I'm quite happy with it now.
Hope this helps.

Hi @ all !

Here I am again, but still frustrated .... OK, Track-IR 3 is running now again, but unfortunately not in the way I imagine

.... it`s still very nervous, especially the moving speed to both sides ist still to fast and in dogfights the center point often slips away .... althoug I`m sitting very static and I operate in the enhanced mode !!

Most problem all the time :

No matter how I slow down the X + X axis, the speed of my headmoving after the deadzone is just the same ??!!?? This couldn`t be right !!??!!

Here is what I tried :

I have deleted the complete Track-IR software with all folders and cleaned the registry, did a defrag and then a new Set-up of the 3.11 software.
Everything went fine, then I plugged in the TracK-IR unit and let Windows search for the software. Afterthat I have configurated the set-up in the menu (I `ve send pics of it to Wayne !)
I have configered the "center" and "active" buttom on my Microsoft Sidewinder FF 2 Joystick using the Sidewinder software to avoid using the keybord.

Using the Track-Hat is impossible, no matter how fare away I sit from the Track-IR unit on the top of my screen. Using a single dot results in a better performance, but not the way I know it frome my old Track-IR 1 !!

I wonder, where is the described great difference between Track-IR 1 and Track-IR 3 pro
In the moment I would absolut prefer my old Track-IR 1 because of the much better performance !! Sorry, but I`m very unhappy and disapointed ... it seems to be that there is no way out ... I`m getting crazy

Serial Nr. of my Track-IR3pro is 016909

Lowpull, do you by any chance have any Logitech CORDLESS device (like mouse, kbrd, joystick)? I've had problems with such controlers...

Hope this helps
