I'm having a little different problem. Mine isn't 100% green, but kinda like... a green scale coloured thing to it. I don't know what to do.

Help!
I have also been experiencing regular green tracking screens (until now, fixable by disconnecting the usb cable). Following the advice in this thread, I emailed Natural Point support. I received a reply from the office manager indicating that the problem had been forwarded to a 'programmer'. That was over 2 weeks ago.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

S77th-Gangrene,

We had some personnel changes here recently so that may have caused a delay. Can you forward your correspondence to me at rick@naturalpoint.com and I will assist you personally.

What I suspect is a few scenerio that may cause a problem to the sensor.

When I first use the TrackIR Pro, I can see part of my shiny chrome spec even without reflective stickers.

1. To much background lights.
The sensor will show:
Green for any reflective layer,
Black for none,
Red also for reflective layer but too far

If too much background light, example spotlights from the back it may show green also.

Try to use the light filtering adjustment and see if its help.

2. It is USB powered, if you using a hub make sure it is externally powered. I guest that what make led blinking.

3. Lastly could be defective components.

Problem solved by Natural Point support.

After some tests they're replacing my unit.
