Help - TIR3P doesn't work properly

Hi there. I received the TrackIR 3 Pro a few days ago, and having major problems getting the thing to work. Very frustrating so far.

Quick summary..
Win XP Pro. SP2. Logged in with Admin Rights.
Software (4.0.22) installed as per instructions (drivers, reboot, plug in device, reboot). Device plugged into a USB2 port on the main motherboard.
Device serial number is 25049

With the device plugged in upon PC boot up, the software is loaded up, I get the 4 red leds on the front, sometimes I get the green status LED, and sometimes I do not. When I do, it is all over the place (see attached pics showing the tracking, heads and gauge windows). They are moving all over the place.

I have read the threads in the forum and I have tried everything, different positions for the TIR, different drivers, different USB ports but the problem is still there.

There seems to be a problem with installation, this is the info in the installlog.txt:

I have tried everything but still the same. And you are correct, it is not tracking correctly. I got your email, I'll send you the files you are requesting. I'll try to test it in a different PC.

Juan,

Have you un-installed and re-installed your software?
The tracking screen appears to be displaying incorrectly, if you disconnect the unit and then reconnect will the tracking screen return to normal?

Do you have another computer in whch you can test your system?
