Please Help...

I bought the TrackIR 3 Pro yesterday... I've installed it properly, started the programme, activated, restarted my computer, started TrackIR once again, started the FS2004, selected cessna 172 and wanted to enjoy it as it says in the pop up. Well.... NOTHING HAPPEND, I was moving my head but it seems not to read TrackIR (though the head in the TrackIR menu moves properly)....

I don't know what to do... Maybe some of you (experienced sers) may help me....

Slawek, what is your serial #? Some of us who have recently purchased TIR are thinking that maybe there were a bad batch of units.

Slawek Szot seems to be having more luck than I. At least the head is moving in the TIR software. Mine is just dead. :\

You have to toggle your view to virtual cockpit in the sim, I can't recall the key off the top of my head.

Does the blue light come on in your sensor unit after starting FS2004?

In FS2004, pressing the S key on keyboard will take you through the various views. ie: Cockpit, Virtual Cockpit (required for TRACKIR), Tower and Spot View. Also make sure your "hotkeys" on the TRACKIR Screen are working. Also, that you are in "enhanced mode" and not "mouse mode" in TRACKIR.

Failing all of the above, a word of advice from the experts would be most welcome.

Thankx guys for your replies.

As far as the hot keys and lights are concerned, everything works fine... But what I would like to ask is the mouse mode and enhanced mode... I'm not sure if I've selected one of those.

Where can I do it?

Log on to your TRACKIR.

Look at your top tool bar. Click on /MOTION/

Under the top tool bar are two options.

O mouse emulation(relative)
O track ir enhanced (absolute)

Click on the last one (enhanced)

Hopefully you are away to the races (old English expression)
