This might be an obvious question, but ive only had the trackIR for a few weeks, im really enough it so far
It might be a bad idea, but i would like to try it away - is there a way to stop the "pause" when you centre your view - its like it purposely sticks to the centre for a little while for ease of use - is there a way to turn this feature off ?
its fine if not, just wondering as i would like to try
Centering
Re: Centering
I think the 'pause' is determined to the speed of a users pc as the software takes a snap of the present position and then adjusts the centering to a new 'zero'. If it was a mechanical zero the user would have to sit in position 'A' or the TIR would be perminatly 'out'. Just a guess but it seems the most logical way of sorting the user's position as the 'zero'.
Are you using a dot (or TrackHat) or the vector? The vector does cut down on the centering 'creaping' . Infact TIR3 is accurate in all of its functions. If you are then sorry it is just that you posted in the non Vector forum.
