Vector without the hat?

Hello

Just a question, I already have my trackir 3 pro and the hat.
Will it be possible to just order the clip and the software?

NaturalPoint is not selling the Vector and the hat seperately according to what they release last week. eDimensional is selling them seperate but removing the hat only saves you $5.

I'd prefer it without the hat too since I've already got plenty of caps.

If the cap had the vector clip built in, then it would be more useful.

Does the clip require a ball cap?

The reason I ask is that I have put a my dot on the front of a Soviet garrison cap (pilotka) as it fits very comfortably under a headset (ball caps give me a headache, no amount of adjusting has corrected it - figure it has something to do with my bald head!).

The clip can be put on the headset. The system is designed for a ball cap but it does work with a headset from our tests.
