I noticed that you can not see the registry files and keys with version 4
I was going to edit view limiting setting to 2 like I did in 3.13 for forgotten battles
That would set the setting for tir to the rear view like oleg gave us with mouse view or hats switches
how can I access this reg file ?
view limiting

In the 3.12 and 3.13 software reg file
we were able to change this reg value
viewlimiting reg_dword -0x00000001 (1 ) to this 00000002 (2) to get the same rear view that you can get with the mouse or hat switch view in forgotten battles
It enables TIR user to get the same rear view to the far right rear and far left rear views as some one in NON TIR users
oleg changed this view to simulate looking over your shoulder and leaning to see your 6 oclock to 7 oclock and your 6 oclock to 5 oclock position from right and left
with the version 4 software you can see from 6 to 5 but you are not able to see from 6 to 7 oclock position from the right side
I have posted some screens to show the Difference at my site

hope I didn't confuse anyone

Re: view limiting
Thanks for posting to picutres. They were very helpful.
The restrictions you see for IL-2 based titles are the default. I wasn't sure if people were overriding them with the alternate registry value.
I've removed the restriction so that you'll get that extra bit of the view back in the next release.

Re: view limiting
We've changed the way view limiting works in the new software. Its now done on a per-game basis and no longer stored in the registry.
What are the values and registry keys you were going to edit? I'd like to see that restrictions Oleg suggests and how they match up to what we have.
We are planning on exposing the view limits in the profiles so that you can configure it per-game if you like.
