I used the trackir3 this morning, I come home and there is no light - and it says No Data.
This requires a reboot for me to get trackir3 to start working again.
any workarounds?
No Data
Re: No Data
I haven't seen this before. I often times leave mine running for a day or so without any issues..
One thing you could try is to unplug and re-plug the device. Another thing would be to shut down the software. Once you do that, open the task manager and look to see that the process TrackIR.exe has exited cleanly. If it hasn't, let me know.

Re: No Data
I shut down software, unplugged the usb, plugged it in and restarted software.
that did it for me.

Re: No Data
Could this be a problem with the Trackir unit/software , or a problem with usb and maybe Windows XP power settings?
Anything I can do to help log and document to find a fix? It's not a huge deal, but just a pain in the butt

I'd like to keep this problem open - although this works, it's quite a pain crawling back behind my computer everyday to plug the usb in.
fyi - I use other usb devices and do not have this - also - I go direct, I don't use a usb hub for the trackir.
