I got a BSOD, restarted Windows and on start up recieved this error:
Faulting application trackir.exe, version 4.1.25.0, faulting module mfc42u.dll, version 6.2.4131.0, fault address 0x0008e0b1.
This has happened now a few times

Have you tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling completely? Seems like either the MFC file may be corrupted OR something else is running in the background and causing a conflict with our application. If that is the case you could also try to run �MSCONFIG� on your system and turn off any extra applications you do not need starting during system power up.
