do u need a cap?

Hello, Im like others and im waiting for my TracIR-Vector package to get here, question is?
Do you need to wear a cap inorder for this to work? I would like to use and HMD helmet and put the expansion on that, all I see is the picture of this on a baseball cap and kind of bent. Does it need to be bent like it shows?

Any info on what people are putting this on would be nice.

you can mount the clip on your hmd no prob with some tape.

might i ask what HMD you got and how much it cost? im in the market

The Hmd was redone by me, using a VFX1 helmet and the Z800 glasses! The Z800 cost $900.
