Try enlarging the reflective dot size.

With the TrackIR1, we noticed a massive improvement in motion speed when we added another dot to the "dot matrix"

I'm getting the slow delayed movement also.

I have Windows 2k. and Track IR v3.03 Installed. Unplugged track Ir and it's ok again

My jittering I thought went away and hasn't ,

I have a via Motherboard KT400 USB2.0 and USB 1.0 .

Using 6 dots to make a curved semi sphere, is ample size and provided excellant coverage. the Tracking screen in the software SHows it tracking perfectly the only problem is it's jiggery even with 1 dot it's jittery in the game.

The 3.03 software, doens't hight light the jittery movement so much or is hard to see without the rectangles.

I've now returned to 2.11 beta 1 and it's all back to normal. I've returned to just using 1 dot. As some of the 6 dots that I set in the semi sphere are causing probelms in the game.

Try plugging it into a usb 1.0 port with the 3.03 software.

I have a via chipset as well and TrackIR is very jittery, slow, and rough when using any version 3.XX software with it plugged into a 2.0 port.

If all else fails, try a PCI USB expansion card. They are around $20 or so at the normal computer stores. Hopefully the above will fix it though.

There was a recent Microsoft update for USB drivers that I at least installed. Could this be the problem with only some people haveing installed it?

More info. here;
