Clip for LCD fitting

Post by jgreth »

My wife seems to have lost my clip. I just recently bought an LCD to replace my aging CRT's. Is there any chance I could somehow pay the $1 and not be charged $5 for something that can go in the regular mail in a normal envelope? Not only would it get here faster but it would be more convenient.

I'll even order 2 or 3 if I have to, but I'm not about to pay $5 to wait a week for such small items that can fit into normal mail.

Look forward to hearing anything back rather than having to rig up some job to get it to fit here.

Thanks in advance!

Low cost and weight postal shipping. No insurance or tracking, may take up to 2 weeks. $4.25 , is our USPS mail service.

Well, thanks for the quick reply.

I guess there's no way around it then... duct tape should work.

Thanks.

A small strip of velecro...
one bit stuck to the LCD (desktop) on top (rear for laptop) and the other bit stuck to the underside of the metal stand, leaving the front two feet in front/ on top of said monitor, should do the trick.

Duct tape will go all yukky after a while and not look too nice anyway
