Shuttering with 4.1.029 & 4.1.0.30 Drivers Sets

Post by Outlaw24 »

I have a Trackir 3 Pro with Vector and after installing the above listed drivers I experienced moderate shuttering/jumping in LOMAC. I'm currently running 4.1.0.28 with no problems, I disabled the true view option in my profile which produced negative results. I installed all drivers by removing the currently installed drivers via the control panel add/remove. I'm I missing something

There should not be any jumping around

A couple of things to try........

Remove the TrackIR software by doing the following:
a. Click "Start"
b. Click on the "Control Panel"
c. Click "Add/Remove Programs"
d. Find "TrackIR" and click "Change/Remove"
e. Once launched it will give the option to completely remove it.
f. Delete the NaturalPoint folder at the following location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint
g. Download and reinstall the software from the following location, http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/06- ... nuals.html

Also check the tracking screen, within the TrackIR software, to make sure there are only 3 green dots with no red or white artifacts.

Hello Vincent.
When i look in my tracking mode there is three green dots
and one red in the middle, if i understand your answer in
this thread right it should not be any red light in the screen. I have "talked" to you in privat e-mail correnspondens from sweden. And my TIR3 pro still dont work with FSX. Is there anything with the red light mabye?

1 - If you are seeing the red light in the middle, and you are wearing the original Track hat, either cover up the built in reflector with a piece of tape, or try a different hat.

2 - When FSX is running, are you getting a blue light on the TrackIR?

3 - Have you tried reinstalling simconnect?

Hello again.
Yes vincent,i wear the original peaked cap from Natural Point with vector expension "antenna". In middelfront of the peak there is a reflector, and that has always been red for me in trackmode, and there has been no problem in FS 9. But as i sead before, i have all lights i can get with FSX. Green on the top the of the "camera", four red dots two on each side, and the blue in the bottom.
And yes, i have reinstalled the simconnect file a several times. Everything seems to work correctely but no contact with FSX.....yet. I have tryed every softwere and so on.
I have disconnected firewalls and virusprogram, disconnected energisaver in the usb.So what can be wrong??

Opsss..
I a peace of tape to cover the middle reflector on the cap,
and that solved my problem with "jumping head".
Thats good, a little bit closer. This is in FS9.
