HI,
I have TrackIR3Pro using the latest software and started playing Armed Assault.
All works great apart from one thing. I'm having issues with the roll axis. The game so I understand allows leaning via TRackIr, but the game Tir profile for this game seems to have the roll axis disabled.
I assume the roll axis represents the leaning action
Armed Assault: Leaning issue
Re: Armed Assault: Leaning issue
X Axis is lean
Re: Armed Assault: Leaning issue
I have had a wierd one in ArmA with Vista. Afer an intense fire fight consisting of dash and lean (around corners)it was as if I was looking over my shoulder. My fire arm was don and to the right, so that when I bought my sights up I still could not see through them. This lasted untill I rebooted.
Apart from that time I have been having a ball in ArmA with my TIR. It does take a bit more though and control using 'iron sights' as you have to line your head up too:) So if some one complains about the advantage of TIR you can always through that back.
Now to find some mature(ish) guys to play with, as I hate PUG's.

Re: Armed Assault: Leaning issue
This game rocks with TIR.
It would be nice to have "roll" and a bit of Y to play with too but I would put a healthy deadzone in for those. I've really loosened up the yaw after starting with a fair deadzone until I got used to things. TIR4 + clip is steady as a rock.
