Is there a fix for the "Unknown USB device"
Re: Is there a fix for the "Unknown USB device"
Hi Vincent
Well, deleted all the things I could find and then downloaded the program from your link and attemted to install only to get this come up................
"The contents of this file cannot be unpacked.
The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted.
Please obtain another copy of this file, verify its integrity and try again."
I also saved a copy of this file a way back and know that it would load OK but this copy now generates the same message.
What next ?
Just do not seem to be able to get this program running!

Tried everthing you have suggested but the same problem persists.
can load program but no instruction to plug in USB, when the USB is plugged the "new hardware" wizard comes up.
Any ideas on what to try next please ?
cheers ray.
