I am thinking of getting Track IR. I know it works in VC but I tend to fly cockpit view with outside view on 3 screens (with a Triple Head 2 Go) and instruments on a fourth screen, so I want be sure it will also work in this set up, by re-orienting only the outside view when I turn my head.

Does any one elso use it in this configuration?

I've used a 3 monitor setup here (thriplehead). The TrackIR will only adjust the main view (In this case, the view that is stretched on the 3 screens)

ok....

Finally saved up the pennies and got one.
Had some trouble installing it, had to uninstall and re-install using the dowmloaded file since it kept stopping strsaight away giving me an error message- but its on now and I just tried it. Great!
Needs some fine tunig for sensitivity and response but you expect this with any new piece of hard/software anyway.
And it works in cockpit mode.


However 1 problem-

on the default Cessna172 I have now lost VC, although it is still there for other aircraft.

So, when you load the aircraft, the 172 is no longer there?

Have you tried a reinstall of the flight sim software?

No the 172 is still there but the only aircraft view is cockpit- VC and the other options are greyed out.

Haven't done a re-install as its a pain in the you know what with all the add-ons and tweaks.
I just changed to another plane for the moment until i've got nowt to do for two or three weeks to do a re-install........ unless a repair might work, what do you think?

A repair might work, just don't know why the other views would be "disabled"

Yep, same sort of setup for me and the TrackIR works beautifully with it...
