2. i have different problem in win7057, wherever i put my trackir4 its saying "...device can perform faster on usb 2.0...", but i know for sure wich port i have is usb 1.1 or usb 2.0.

[/quote]

This is a know issue, where the motherboard bios incorrectly detects the TrackIR device as being exclusively a 2.0 device.

Upm wheres edit button?

I tested this out. Game is running fine about hours without track ir 5 software.

I will uninstall trackir5 software and reinstall again and test again. Perhaps some other workarounds. Does TR5 and Arma2 run better on WIN7 32 bit systems?

Edit:reinstall ( deinstall ang plug off , then reinstall and plug in ) does not help..Bluescreen after 15 Mins:

dxgmm1.sys makes an irq driver less or equal.

now try to install 4.1037 final.

Edit: 4.1037 seems to work , no bluescreen after 45 mins testing. But i cant configure it. only can look to the right..when i look a little more left he says "No data". i played with settings of course set to track clip pro (vector stands there but i set to clip), played with profiles but i can only look at all directions when i am 30 cm near to track ir, and not 80 cm as usual...seems not to work good with track ir 5... any idea?

Should i install 32bit win 7`?

So ArmA 2 is crashing after 15 minutes, if ytou are using the TrackIR software 5x?

Connected directly to the PC, or using a hub?

Running both applications as an admin?

no hub. 5.109588 beta.

yes as admin.

now i installed 32bit win7 and it works fine but i get 2 freezes in 4 hours playing. and i can alt tab out. no bluescreens anymore.

BUT this time i ran Track ir 5 software in vista32sp1 compatibility mode..perhaps this worked in win 7 64 too...dont know.

you need a log from freezes?

when a final version from track ir 5 comes out? i bought it and i have beta since 2 weeks ...

ok my problem useing win 7 but...i want not a beta for my 200

TrackIR Windows 7 64bit problem

Post by giordino »

Hi all,
I've a trackIR 4 PRO and I recently installed Win7 64bit, with latest drivers.
I played with IL-2 and trackIR works fine.
Yesterday I had a problem: TrackIR froze and I had to restart my Pc, two times. I was playing online.
I've connected the trackIR with a USB HUB device, maybe the HUB needs an additional power?
Thanks

If youare using a hub, it should have an external AC power supply.

Any other applications running in the background?
