Directx

does natural point use directx? Consequently, does it use DirecInput for the keyboard commands it takes in to click? I use the trackIR as a mouse, and have voice command for clicking. But the voice command software uses direcinput, a function of DirectX, for outputing the keyboard commands. Anybody know a way i can make natural point use direcinput?
