I'm having the same problem, I've tried the solution suggested above but still no joy. The PC is recognising that I have plugged something in but cannot find the drivers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

What are NP thinking of when they dont support devices they have sold for expensive money.
Just to force some poor people like me (student) to buy new stuff ie trackIR5.
Christ!!! How "anal" can you behave!
Common, start treat your customer with respect.

And please dont say its hard........thats even more insulting when you treat me - us as idiots.

Hello,

Unfortunately, as TrackIR 2 was retired over 8 years and several software versions ago, we cannot feasibly support that product with continued development at this time--this includes supporting the newest operating systems.

If you're a current TrackIR 2 owner and considering whether to upgrade to a newer version, please feel free to email me directly. I'd be happy to investigate whether I can make that upgrade more accessible for you.

Unfortunately, out of the box, no. It was working in the developer preview, but that stopped working when they moved to the consumer preview, and consequently the release preview. You can get it to work by disabling driver signing, but that's not recommended from a security standpoint. A fix has been found and is in development, and will be available before general availability.
