I'm a Noob again!

Post by VaCreeper »

I've relosded LOMAC and the latest Trackir software for my TR3 and I'm tracking well and the software recognizes LOMAC but.....It does not work in the sim. I know I'm doing something wrong cause everything works fine independently. I am running all software as admin. Any ideas as to what I have overlooked?
TY!

Are you running the standard version of lock-on, or do you have the flaming cliffs add-on installed as well?

LOMAC -
Download the latest Ubisoft patch...
The latest update from Ubisoft is available at ubi.com.

NOTE: You must uncheck the box for "cockpit mouse option" to enable TrackIR to work! This can be found under Options/Cockpit of the LO-MAC settings screen.

Flaming Cliffs -
Some users have reported TrackIR no longer working in Lock-On: Flaming Cliffs, with the latest game patch (1.12a).

To remedy this simply open your LOMAC->Input folder, and delete the TrackIR.ini file; then go to LOMAC->Config folder, and delete the TrackIR.ini file located here as well.

Bummer :( No go with your suggestions. Should I unload/ reload the Trackir software after removal of it's presence in the sim?

And you select run as admin, by selecting it from the right click menu?

The TrackIR software detects the gaming application automatically.

What version of the TrackIR software are you using?

So deleted both ini files, as well as unclicked to mouse option?

The blue LEd is being enabled, on the camera?

Starting both as an admin?

Blue LED? No not checked. Since I'm running Win. 7 would it be adviseable to put the TrackIR and the game software in "C" root file instead of in the "86" program file?
