TrackerIR5 unit broken?

Hi,

I've had my TrackerIR5 almost for 2 years now, but today it won't work properly.

The camera either won't show any IR reflections, or sometimes it shows almost everything. It can see a red silhouette of myself in the camera-view in such rare cases.

E.g.:

All the diodes (4 red ones) are there. It recognizes games, but it won't track anymore. It is fairly dark in the room, and I don't have any
other IR light/reflection devices that should disturb it..

I also tried different IR light strength, it doesn't matter.. I have restarted the machine + reconnected it in the USB, it gets detected,
but the camera won't work properly.

Is the unit broken?

If you could email a screenshot of the issue with the serial number to support@naturalpoint.com, we can check warranty on the deice for you.

I've mailed you the information.

My serial is ######.

It's a bit older than the one you've listed as possible defects. But the symptoms are quite the same.

I've received a notice from my retailer in Norway, and they're taking it back for replacment/service. :-)
