TURN OFF CLICK SOUND

I've recently reinstalled my smartnav software and cannot permanently turn off the clicking sound for the dwell clicker. I have unticked the checkbox and tried saving a new profile but as soon as I restart my computer the clicking sound is back. Please help with a solution.
