SmartNAV.exe is missing?

Hi,

When I opened SmartNAV today, the shortcut couldn't locate the exe file. In the Program Files (86)/Natural Point/SmartNAV folder, there is no SmartNAV.exe. Reinstalling and repairing will not make it reappear. Any idea why it might have vanished?

Hello Casey,

Has there been any updates to your PC from last use until this use? Perhaps an antivirus update? The only time I have seen this happen has been when an anti-virus software updated, decided that SmartNav wasn't to be trusted and removed it, as if it were cleaning a virus.

Hi Mike,

I set up my anti-virus to exclude the NaturalPoint folder And with a reinstall, The.exe file reappeared. Thanks for the tip!
