Mikesch,

Would you be able to clarify what you mean by the applications "going out of focus"?

By applications I mean software like "The Grid 2" and Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word. By losing focus I mean the computer does not know which application to run so it locks up.

Mikesch,

Would you be able to supply me with your computer's specs? I haven't seen this happen and be specific to SmartNav. It might be a simple software conflict. Have you tried removing and re-installing the software and drivers?

It is a Dell with Intell 64 bit processor and 64 bit OS which is Windows 8.1 and 8 GB of ram, full windows touch support screen.
I have reloaded Smartnav software several times but not drivers. I will do both.

I've reloaded drivers, software and the latest fix. So far it is working but needs to stand the test of time because it has worked before. Thank you. Mike

Mikesch,

Can you monitor your resources using task manager to see what is going on when this happens? What processes are spiking and using all available resources?

So far bringing the task manager is enough to gain focus.
